Erotic Female Nurse 1/5 Scale Sculpture Statue Jaydee Models Sculpture Dewar

Jaydee models is proud to present Nurse a 1/5 scale resin sculpture. Inspired by the classic horror games and first movie of Silent hill, here's my tribute to one of the iconic creatures from the series. Having recently revisited the first movie one of the highlights is the scene with the bubble head nurses, it's very disturbing and gripping to watch, I was struck by the movement of the creatures and wanted to portray that in my own sculpture interpretation. I decided early on to give the nurse a face rather than the rounded featureless head, more in keeping with a sympathetic nurse character seen near the climax of the movie.

So with this in mind I started to design a face that showed no emotion, with cold off white eyes hinting at the real horror at the back. Her head is splitting open thing style revealing a screaming mouth full of sharp teeth, blood and saliva running down.

From there I worked on the twisted form, rigid and contorted limbs moving the body forward, Like some twisted Marionette. I think this pose is what makes the sculpture so unsettling, the face and body are attractive but the look is the thing of nightmares. This was the feeling I had watching the movie so it was important to capture that disjointed movement.

For her uniform I've added tendrils and veins growing out around the clothing as it's almost being absorbed into her body, this adds an extra level of horror to the statue, along with her high heels, bone growing out of her heels replacing her shoes. Finally the bulk of the work went into painting her skin and clothing, multiple shades are blended together, freckles and veins add the finishing touch to this beautiful and horrific figure. She's standing on a black satin base with a worn marble finished top, speckled with blood and dirt, giving the perfect finish to the statue. Each statue is signed and numbered on the base.
