Unique Huge Pair of Impressive Canova's Marble Lions Original Master moulds
Unique original Huge Life size Fibre glass master mould or sculpture. We Bought these Fantastic Lions Direct from the sculptor Simon Grace a number of years ago. We witnessed Simon sculpt both these lions in Clay over a period of months from his extensive images from St Peters Basilica and Later copies in Chatsworth house.
After finishing his clays he then made a cast mould to produce a completely one off set of master originals in fibre glass. The sleeping lion shown on the right is symbolic of the Pope's moderation; the vigilant lion on the left represents his energetic work. 197cm x 90cm x 68cm approx Each Lion. Please note we are a retail outlet and are open 6 days per week.Orders received after that will be dispatched on Mondays. Please note that there are no dispatches or deliveries during the weekend or on bank holidays. With this service you can authorise the courier to leave the parcel with a neighbour or in a safe place at your own risk. It is your responsibility to be in to receive your goods. Larger items will be delivered by a haulage company on a pallet service, which will be delivered to the road side by tail lift.
Sub-contractor drivers are used and are not obliged to carry anything off the pallet or carry items onto your property. It is your responsibility to be in to receive, check and sign for your goods. Goods MUST be checked in front of the driver immediately and sign for in good condition. This is your opportunity to ensure you are happy with your order. The signature will void a later claim for Damage in Transit so it is vital you check your goods right way before signing.You MUST be in to receive your goods on the date agreed with the haulage company. Ireland and remote locations around the UK, may incur a surcharge. All photographs and item descriptions are indicative of the items being sent and all measurements/weights are approximates. If the item is not required, you can of course send it back, but please let us know straight away before sending so we can look out for the package.
